Over more than a decade, around a hundred public innovation labs and teams have been initiated by local and national governments across the world. Some of them have just been launched while others have already disappeared, and how these labs are initiated and formed can be a key factor in their success.

The goal of this event is to explore a selection of existing lab approaches to understand how to build strong and resilient innovation units in the public sector. The event will also explore strategies, tactics and tips for overcoming difficulties and identifying new models for the future.

Chris Sigaloff will moderate the closing session of the event.

This event is co-organised by La 27e Région (France) and Nesta (UK) as part of Design for Europe++Design for EuropeDesign for Europe is a three-year programme to support design-driven innovation across Europe. It is co-funded by the European Union..
