Summer school ‘The Dream School’ in Hong Kong
From the 20 until 23 August, during an intensive learning experience 30 changemakers will learn about the evolution of Hong Kong's education system and will be inspired by global cases.

In partnership with MaD (Making a Difference++MaDFounded in 2009, MaD (Make a Difference) inspires and empowers young people all over Asia to come up with creative responses to our time’s challenges. It has evolved as a collaborative platform of creative changemakers that works at the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation and discovery to bring about positive changes in Asia.) Kennisland is organising a special Summer school ‘The Dream School’ geared towards creating innovation of the education system in Hong Kong. From the 20 until 23 August, during an intensive learning experience 30 changemakers will learn about the evolution of Hong Kong’s education system and will be inspired by global cases.
Chris Sigaloff will give lectures and workshops about the implementation of bottom-up education innovation. The participants will also visit different schools in Hong Kong and sketch their first ideas about their desired schools for the future.
While in Hong Kong, Chris will attend the launch of Ednovation Fest and is keynote speaker at the University of Hong Kong, together with professor Kai-Ming Cheng. Ednovation Fest aims at showcasing and celebrating both global and local education innovation efforts, to discover exciting education models of the 21st century, share education stories, debate multiple learning pathways, and gather like-minded people to craft an ideal education blueprint for our future generations.
Through the help of The Jockey Club Ednovation is setting up a Fellowship for teachers in Hong Kong.
