Launch event European Social Innovation Competition 2018
The European Social Innovation Competition promotes and supports social innovation in Europe. On 20 March 2018, we will launch the sixth edition of the competition by announcing the theme of this year and officially opening the competition to entries.

Each year, the European Social Innovation Competition++EUSICThe European Social Innovation Competition is an initiative of the DG Growth of the European Commission, and is organised by Nesta, Kennisland, Ashoka, ENoLL and Scholz & Friends. The competition promotes and supports social innovation in Europe and provides a platform for leading European innovators to support new initiatives, help them develop further and to learn from each other. offers four prizes of € 50,000 each for the best ideas to tackle a social problem faced by communities across Europe. The launch event will kick off the competition by showcasing social innovation projects in Paris and act as a forum to discuss the major issues around this year’s chosen topic. We’re bringing together Europe’s brightest innovators, entrepreneurs and policymakers for an afternoon of networking and talks on social innovation in Europe and Paris in particular.
