Working together for an inclusive society
While this may appear obvious, it can’t be taken for granted in an individualised society. Changing society for the better demands action and commitment, curiosity and enthusiasm. You need to be willing to really listen to people’s motives and needs; and perhaps you also need to be independent-minded to really make a difference – day in, day out.
Stichting CAOP (‘CAOP Foundation’) works to promote a society where everyone can play a part and contribute – a society where your voice is heard, where you have opportunities and where everyone benefits from progress. We achieve this by exploring, connecting and changing. We bring people, organisations and authorities together to tackle social problems as partners.
We do so independently and with three brands that complement and strengthen one another: CAOP, Sardes and Kennisland.++Stichting CAOPWe merged with CAOP on 1 April 2022. Sardes also merged with CAOP on 1 January 2023. The three individual organisations collectively form Stichting CAOP (‘CAOP Foundation’).
CAOP brings together research, scienceBy working with CAOP and Sardes, we can strengthen our position and put innovative solutions and experiments into practice on a larger scale. and policy to make a positive impact on labour-related issues by harnessing shared knowledge and experiences.
Sardes offers an integrated research, development and support package that helps childcare and education providers, local authorities and central government create equal opportunities for children and young people.
Kennisland develops solutions for complex social problems that affect everyone by working with those most closely involved. We teach people to innovate themselves. We use social innovation to foster a learning society, a knowledge society.
Together, we work to realise change and improvement. This in turn allows us to upscale successful local initiatives into national programmes, as well as testing and refining policy in practice.
Stichting CAOP brings people, organisations and authorities together to tackle social problems as partners, with the objective of promoting a society where everyone can play their part and contribute.
By working with CAOP and Sardes, we can strengthen our position and put innovative solutions and experiments into practice on a larger scale.
